About Us
Welcome to Southern Peak Brewery Taproom & Pizzeria, the newest addition to the Sweetwater Town Center in Apex, NC! This second location builds on the community-driven spirit of our original brewery, bringing the same local craft beer you know and love, now paired with handcrafted, made from scratch pizza.
Southern Peak Brewery was founded by Ken Michalski and Nathan Poissant, who set out to create a neighborhood gathering place built on quality, creativity, and connection. Continuing that tradition, our Sweetwater location is designed to serve as a welcoming hub for friends, families, and beer lovers alike, right in the heart of another vibrant community.
Joining the ownership team is Anthony Masino, the creative force behind our new pizzeria kitchen. With his culinary expertise, we’ve expanded our menu to offer an exceptional selection of pizzas and bites that perfectly complement our craft offerings.
