Fairy Hair Flare Party

Thursday, May 24th @ 430pm

It's a Fairy Hair Flare Party! Grab a friend, a pint or a glass of wine and get some flare for your hair! Fairy Hair Flare uses Finkelpott's Original Fairy Hair, which is tied to one strand of your hair. It will last until that strand of hair falls out. It can be months or a day, when you lose that hair no one can say. You can wash it, brush it, comb it, curl it, color it, straighten it, blow dry it and get a haircut with it. Do whatever you normally do to your hair, all while enjoying the fun flare of fairy hair. It takes 10 minutes for 10 strands. Girls pint out just got more flare!

The Cost:
10 strands = $25 (take one appointment slot)
15 strands = $40 (take one appointment slot)
20 strands = $50 (take two appointment slots) ** this is the average amount people get**
30 strands = $65 (take two appointments)

Cash is preferable. Cards are accepted for a small fee.

Hair that is clean and brushed without product or hairspray is best to work with.

BEER & BOARDS CUSTOM SIGN PAINTING

TUESDAY, MAY 22ND @ 630PM | TUESDAY, JUNE 12TH @ 630PM | Tuesday, June 26th @ 630pm

REGISTER HERE

Beer and Boards is a unique event where everyone can have a different, customized painting on either repurposed pallet boards or solid repurposed pine, birch or plywood. We use stencils to guide us through the process. There is always the option to freehand paint, but we find our clients are happier knowing they will get a presentable finished painting. We use wood because we like the rustic look, as well as we have the opportunity to reduce our footprint by recycling and repurposing wood. We get our pallets locally cut down each one and reattach for the finished paint canvas. Other wood comes from local builders as well as Habitat for Humanity Resell. We sand and prepare the wood for ideal painting and we finish it with your base coat, that you have chosen. We use a variety of acrylic and chalk paint. We use oil based enamel for the frames. All frames are handmade and there will be variations; meaning it will not be perfect. We use brown leather enamel for our frames, unless otherwise requested. Everything is cut, painted and designed on your direction and customization. If there is an option not available, please ask and we will try to accommodate your request. Options might inlcude a specific color, font or a specific design...we can make almost anything into a stencil. Requests are welcomed and encouraged- we love new designs! We will have a food truck on site for dinner. Preregistration is required and we must have 5 people regsitered to host the event.

Previous collections are After the Steaming Stops and Unfinished Projects. A former editor for Wake Living magazine, Alice is also the editor of the anthologies Tattoos and Creatures of Habitat, both from Main Street Rag. Dogs & Cats are teaming up, Sunday, June 3rd and raise a pint for paws and meet the wonderful folks from Operation Catnip. A portion of the days proceeds will benefit their monthly TVNR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release) that reduces feline euthanasia and improves the lives of feral & free roaming cats in our community.

Bring your pup out for a treat from Just 4 Dogs Mobile Treat Truck and get a nail trim from the Carolina Pet Spa.

We will be holding a raffle with some awesome prizes including treats for cats and dogs from Just 4 Dogs and Southern Peak swag!

Operation Catnip is near & dear to Southern Peak. Shortly after opening, we realized we had feral cats. Through the help of Operation Catnip we were able to TVNR our cats and they can no longer have kittens and lead healthier lives. We manage our small colony who in turn help us with rodent control.

Please come out and support this amazing organization!

**Operation Catnip is a 501(c)3 grassroots organization dedicated to reducing feral and free roaming, unwanted cat populations through sterilization.**
